► Measure the implementation of your most critical incident prevention processes
测量最重要的事故预防过程的实施情况。
► Choose only the most critical measure ... don’t try to measure too many things (2-4 is about right)
贵精不在多，2-4个就合适。
► Measures may evolve over time as your culture and systems mature
随着文化与系统逐步成熟，测量方式或许会升级。
► Measure frequency for immature processes ... measure quality for mature processes
对不成熟的过程，侧重测量的频率。而成熟的过程，应侧重测量的质量。
► OK to have multiple types of measures for different audiences (worker, supervisor, management)
测量方法可以因地制宜，因人而设。
► No need to measure those behaviors or processes that are inherently part of your culture
深深烙印在文化中的行为或方法，可以不测量。
► Just because you can measure something doesn’t mean you should
胡子眉毛一把抓不可取。
► Just because you measure something doesn’t mean you have to publish it
看穿不点破。
► Leading indicators do not replace trailing indicators
功不抵过，一码归一码
► Avoid complexity ... keep it simple

► Focus on the stewardship of the measures (review trends, understand issues, resolve issues)
透过现象看本质，解决问题的能力。
► When measuring quality, utilize simple checklists to achieve some level of objectivity
对于质量的测量，尽量使用检查表.
► Biggest benefit : focuses valuable resources on continually improving the most important incident prevention process
闭上眼睛想想就知道好处有多少。。。。。。。。
► Key message : if you’ve identified something that you should do better or more of ... you should consider developing a leading indicator for that topic
